July 2009 Newsletter

Thank you: To everyone who contributed to the Sprinkler Fund. Through your generous contributions and participation in all our fund raising events we were able to complete the job without taking loans or accessing the membership. The membership is grateful and we look forward to and welcome your future participation in all Division 11 activities.

Annual Golf Outing: This will be the 4th year this event will be offered. Tee off on September 11th at The Meadow at Peabody.  Tee time will be a shotgun start at 1PM with a 12:30 Check in. Complete details of this event are enclosed and posted on the Division 11 website at www.aohpea.com.  The AOH awards two $500.00 Scholarships to the sons, daughters, or grandson or granddaughters of AOH Division 11 members in good standing. In addition to the scholarships, money raised by this event will go to upgrading the Function Hall and building maintenance. We need your support if you cannot attend the golf you can come to just the dinner after golf. There will be prizes, a catered dinner, and karaoke.

Stop the Mail:  Something not heard by the U.S. Post Office but we need your help. Mail is expensive. Each mailing we do cost in excess of $300. In addition to the financial cost it is a lot of work printing and stuffing envelopes. If you could all send us an e-mail address we could get Division 11 communications out to all of you on a more consistent basis. Please help. It won’t cost you anything. Thank you!

Sick Members: Please keep Recording Secretary Jack Brennan in your prayers.
